We knew choosing the right wedding planner was very important since neither the groom nor I would be able to visit Maui before our actual wedding. Kim, Keala, and the EIW staff did a wonderful job working with us remotely – they planned the venue layout, sent us several options for caterers, hair and makeup artists, photographers, bartenders, MCs, and officiant. We also especially liked how EIW is a local company run by locals. The venue was at a family friend’s private home, and their comments were all extremely positive and noted how professional and prepared Kim and her team were during site visits. In addition, we especially liked how transparent EIW was about payment – invoices came directly from vendors and checks were made out directly to them. EIW was not taking any commission off of any bills due. EIW charges one flat rate and that is that. Kim and Keala communicated with us well and were immediately responsive to our questions and comments – there was never a time we felt ignored or “unattended” to (even with the East Coast/Maui time difference). We trusted Kim and Keala’s opinions and suggestions and our wedding was a huge success. Everyone had a wonderful time and both the groom and I received so many compliments on the final result; several guests even asked for EIW’s contact details. It was the stress-free wedding of our dreams, and EIW was key to making that happen. Thank you!

“My daughter’s wedding in Maui went beautifully, almost dream-like. The wedding was held in a friend’s private home in Maui and my daughter relied solely on Kim, Keala, and the Exclusive Island Wedding staff for all the wedding arrangements. Everything, from setup, decorations, ceremony, DJ, food services to parking logistics, were well-planned and efficiently executed on wedding day. EIW coordinated very well with all the different service providers, and the whole crew worked well together. Guests were very impressed with the services provided, to the point a friend of mine asked for the wedding planner’s contact (for his son’s potential destination wedding next year). The whole crew was all very pleasant, worked hard, including the take down, working late into the night.
While waiting for our flight home at the Maui airport, we met up with my daughter and son-in-law; we asked them what they thought about the wedding and if it went according to what they expected. Their answer: a big YES, and this coming from my ‘perfectionist’ daughter is a big complement indeed.”
